Guitar Workshop: A new departure for the festival this year - learn to play Boogie Woogie guitar - bring your instrument and have some fun at this session, which is open to guitarists of all ages and abilities.  The course is leader is Tom Toomey, well known Somerset guitar teacher and session musician. He will be ably assisted by one of our resident boogie woogie pianists!

Vocal Blues/Gospel Workshop: This session will be led by "Papa" Don Washington from USA.  He is appearing in the concerts and has agreed to lead this exciting new departure. Suitable for all ages and abilities, Don will introduce you to the skills and intricacies of creative music with an exploration in vocal expression as he teaches it in USA - unmissable! Further information later

Banner and Bunting Painting Workshop (Juniors):  Come along and help create and decorate Banners and Bunting for this years 4th UK Boogie Woogie festival. Themed around the world of Boogie Woogie music with the finished works of art displayed at the evening performance. Suitable for children 8 years old and above. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for mess.

These sessions are great fun!  It doesn't matter if you think you have two left feet - after this session that will be a thing of the past.  Trained teachers teach you the steps and give you the confidence to join your partner out on the dance floor!  All ages and abilities welcome for the Beginners Session.  Bring the shoes you want to learn to dance in!!!
