Another tribute to the originators of this great music. The UK boogie woogie festival invite music historians and collectors to talk about the history of boogie woogie and to share some items of their knowlage and collections.

History of Boogie Woogie Talk: 

This years History of Boogie Woogie Talk will be presented by two local jazz, blues and boogie woogie enthusiasts Don Knies and Russ Barnes.

Don Knies has been colleting jazz and blues music for many years and since the first UK boogie woogie festival in 2005 has given support and taken the position of M.C. at the festival concerts. Don Knies, who is incidentally from America, is of an age that he can well remember the great originators of boogie woogie music.
