Guitar Workshop: A new departure for the festival this year - learn to play Boogie Woogie guitar - bring your instrument and have some fun at this session, which is open to guitarists of all ages and abilities.  The course is leader is Tom Toomey, well known Somerset guitar teacher and session musician. He will be ably assisted by one of our resident boogie woogie pianists!

Tom Toomey is a session musician, guitar teacher, solo guitarist and guitarist with the Monfi Cats, Toomey-Swarbrick and Santana tribute band Jingo Santana.

As a session musician, Tom has worked with many well-known names both on tour and in the studio, including Sir Cliff, Colin Blunstone, Leo Sayer, Jon Anderson and Don McLean to name a few.   His boogie woogie experience came from working with Dorset star, Ben Waters.

The founder and chairman of the charity Music for Africa, Tom is an exciting, energetic and accomplished musician, session player, performer and teacher. He's equally able to rock the rafters with his electric set
